Brad Pitt Declares War Against Paparazzi After Two Invade His French Estate

The Associated Press is reporting that camouflaged paparazzi trespassed onto the grounds of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's French Riviera Chateau and fought with guards when they were discovered.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are staying at this chateau situated on about 1,200 acres in the South of France.

French police took two photographers in camouflaged clothing and also two of Pitt and Jolie's guards in for questioning in the incident. French police captain Olivia Poupot said both sides filed legal complaints against each other for battery and causing injuries.

According to the police, the injuries were bruises and scratches, but "nothing nasty."

Tony Webb, who is the leader of the group that is guarding the Chateau in Southern France where Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their six children are currently living, said that two men were discovered on the grounds.

When his guards attempted to escort the trespassers off of the estate, the men went “berserk.”

“We caught the two” on Thursday afternoon “and tried to escort them off the property,” Webb said. One “guy’s just gone berserk, thrashing out, kicking and actually biting one of the security people, breaking his finger, drawing blood and screaming that he had Hepatitis C.”

The two paparazzi, freelance photographer Luc Goursolas and Marianne Saint-Arroman, claim that they were on public property in a neighboring forest. The paparazzi confirmed that they were wearing camouflaged clothing to avoid being detected. Said Saint-Arroman, "We weren't going to wear a red sweater."

Goursolas said he broke a bodyguard's finger and bit another but said he did so in self defense. "I threw myself at them, put blood all over them and told them I had HIV so they would stop hitting me," he said.

Only days ago, Brad Pitt's lawyer announced that the couple would sue anyone who published recently taken photographs of their family. TheSmokingGun.com has reported that someone recently took unauthorized photos of the family and has already sold them.

Pitt and Jolie are reportedly willing to sue any publication that publishes the photos because they feel that it would violate the couple's right to privacy.

The New York Daily News reported that Brad Pitt was furious after Thursday's scuffle and told the paparazzi: "I'm fed up with my private property being violated. If you want war, you will get it."

Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon by cesarean section on July 12th at the Lenval hospital in southern France. She left the hospital in Nice only last week, bringing the newborns home to the chateau.

News reports state that publications are offering from $15 - $20 million for photos of the babies, which is a powerful motivation for any papparazzo.

Webb said that the couple intend to take legal action against any photographer that intrudes into their private space. “The family are (sic) really fed up that these people are trespassing so we’re going to try to get restraining orders and use the law to do whatever we have to keep them off the property,” he said.

Other news reports are stating that Pitt and Jolie have already made a deal to sell the first photos of their twins to a US magazine for $11 million and they intend to donate the money to charity.

Angelina Jolie has proven to be a remarkably hot item recently. Not only is her every public move carefully scrutinized by the media and the paparazzi, but she has also been the recipient of late of several awards.

Last week she was nominated for a Golden Globe award for best dramatic actress for her performance in A Mighty Heart.

She was also voted the number one sexiest movie star of all time according to the British film magazine Empire. Empire’s list includes both men and women and includes stars from the last 100 years of film.

Not on the list were Humphrey Bogart & Ingrid Bergman, which is pretty ridiculous. There were many lesser know recent stars ahead of James Dean and Warren Beatty, which indicates that many of the voters were on the younger side. No matter what your age, it is hard to understand how Gerald Butler, who starred in 300 and was voted the 10th sexiest, could come in ahead of James Dean or Robert Redford.

Obviously, the younger set has never seen the films, Rebel without a Cause starring James Dean and Natalie Wood or Barefoot in the Park starring Robert Redford and Jane Fonda. If they had, Gerald Butler could never have placed ahead of Redford or Dean regardless of Butler’s abdominal muscles.

And what woman hasn’t drooled at the sight of Clark Gable as Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind?

Angelina Jolie is also being rewarded for her humanitarian nature, which is considerable, having drawn public attention to the plight of the poor and destitute in Africa.

Keira Knightley Talks About Acting and the Golden Globe

At just 22 years old, Keira Knightley has already received the second Golden Globe nomination of her career for her role as leading actress in the recently released motion picture Atonement.

Knightley is in very good company and will go up against some powerful actresses when the winners are announced on January 13th.

Her competition for the Globe is Kate Blanchett in Elizabeth: the Golden Age, Julie Christie in Away from Her, Jodie Foster in The Brave One and Angelina Jolie in The Mighty One.

However, Knightley has as good a chance as any of the other nominees and perhaps better chances than the others because of the fact that Atonement received a total of seven nominations, which could make Knightley the beneficiary from the coattails effect of being in such a powerful film.

Atonement also received nominations for best dramatic motion picture; best actor, James McAvoy, in a dramatic film; best supporting actress, Saoirse Ronan; best director, Joe Wright; best screenplay, Christopher Hampton; and best original score, Dario Marianelli.

While the presentation of the winners of this year’s Golden Globe awards is scheduled for January 13th, the strike by the Writers Guild of America may scuttle a live presentation on television because many actors are saying they will refuse to cross picket lines to attend the event.

As to speculation that Keira is the brightest actor of her generation, Knightley rejects that notion.

"The thing with acting is it's not a job where, if you go to drama school, get the best grades and work the hardest, you're going to be successful,” said Knightley.

"It has nothing to do with whether you're the best or the prettiest. It takes a lot of luck."

Keira’s next role will be to play 18th century English socialite Georgiana Spencer in The Duchess.

Spencer, who was the Duchess of Devonshire, was well known for extravagance, a gambling addiction and a role in the French Revolution.

Knightley said that Spencer’s life was so full and rich that much of her scandalized story had to be left out of the film.

Said Knightley, "We didn't have the budget to go to the French Revolution. You could make five films out of her life."

Donald Trump Calls Angelina Jolie Ugly?

Donald Trump has been quoted this week knocking Angelina Jolie’s beauty. Said Trump, “Angelina Jolie is sort of amazing because everyone thinks she’s like this great beauty. And I’m not saying she’s an unattractive woman, but she’s not beauty, by any stretch of the imagination. I really understand beauty. And I will tell you, she’s not — I do own Miss Universe. I do own Miss USA. I mean I own a lot of different things. I do understand beauty, and she’s not.”

Notice how The Donald said he owned Miss Universe and Miss USA. Of course, he really owns the beauty pageants for Miss Universe and Miss USA. But perhaps the Donald actually believes that he owns Miss Universe and Miss USA, the women. It certainly sounds that way when he speaks.

Anyone who is capable of reading the newspaper and has read The Donald quotes before knows that his ego is his driving force. He really appears to believe that he is better and smarter than the rest of us because he has earned a lot of money.

If you ever listen to an interview of The Donald, you will hear the phrase “and I made a lot of money” over and over again. But, of course, if everyone spent every waking hour trying to make more money like The Donald does, most of us would be a lot wealthier.

We have added some photos of the woman that The Donald thinks is un-beautiful. You may judge for yourself, but it is hard to understand how anyone can believe that Angelina, regardless any other flaws, is anything but very, very attractive.
